SaudadeSims conversion of HolySimoly’s La Boheme set.

I have missed this set since Sims 3 came out. These are not *my* meshes!!! These were made by some of the most talented Sims creators that have ever graced our community, Flem and Shtinky of HolySimoly fame. All I have done is convert their meshes and use their textures to make these work in Sims 4. That said, it wasn’t easy because I had to edit some meshes so the height will fit and it was necessary to edit all the bedding a lot because Sims 2 bedding will not fit a Sims 4 texture map. 

So here’s what you get:

  • 10 Colors of the Wooden La Boheme Double Bed

  • 10 Colors of the Wooden La Boheme Single Bed

  • 10 Colors of the La Boheme Armoire

  • 10 Colors of the La Boheme End Table

  • 10 Colors of the Iron La Boheme Double Bed

  • 10 Colors of the Iron La Boheme Single Bed

  • 12 Colors of the La Boheme Double Bed Skirt (Valance)

  • 12 Colors of the La Boheme Single Bed Skirt (Valance)
  • 12 HolySimoly Beddings on OM’s “Sofia Selectables” Mattress


All the woods are the original La Boheme textures except I edited 3 to make plain white, plain black, and plain gray/ash/light brown so you get 10 instead of 7 color choices

The iron texture is also the original HolySimoly texture, but this time you get 5 original textures and 5 recolored by me for 10 total

The bed skirt (valance) textures are all from HolySimoly, I didn’t recolor these. I made the single bed skirt mesh by altering the double mesh.

The bed frames have been separated from the mattresses.

The bedding is from various HolySimoly Bedding downloads, there were only 3 La Boheme bedding textures, so I included ones from “The Elwood”, and “Sendai” because I like them and miss them ;) These are on OrangeMittens’ “Sofia Selectables” mesh so your sims won’t walk through them. 

The end table and the bedding can both use the ingame design tool, but I had to combine all the other objects using S4S so you can’t use the tool on those. 

I didn’t make single bedding with these textures, sorry. 

Everything has custom thumbnails, yay! :)

Holy Simoly’s Seychelles Bathroom and Ocean Grove Shower Converted by Saudade Sims

This is my favorite bathroom of all time so I had to convert it. All the meshes and textures belong to the fabulous Holy Simoly. I didn’t add any of my own recolors to this set, all the textures are the originals.

I did have to make a few changes to the first mirror. The original had a vase with flowers and a soap dish and a stack of soap bars wrapped with string. These were created using an alpha layer and I couldn’t get a base game mirror to work with the alpha layer so I removed the decorations instead. Then I had the bright idea to add slots to the mirrors but whenever I tried that S4S would crash (I’m sure it’s something I was doing wrong!). So in the end I just left them plain and used bb.moveobjects on and the 9 and 0 keys to place objects on them. 

Actually, the easiest way I found to place objects was to turn on MOO, place a wall shelf at the correct height using *alt* (place it so it’s next to the area on which you want place an object, not directly on it, but so that it’s level with the ledge you want to use) put your object on the wall shelf and then pick it up and *voila* the object is the exact height you need.

I also removed the decorations from the towel shelf and made an empty one so that you can put whatever objects you want on it. As of right now though, it doesn’t have any slots (I’ll update it when S4S makes it easier to add and move slots) and you have to use the same cheats you used on the mirror to put things on it. Sorry :(

In addition, I converted the Ocean Grove shower because even though it wasn’t actually a part of this set, I always used them together.

The in-game design tool works with everything except the mirrors.

I’ll be doing the rest of the Ocean Grove and Driftwood sets soon.

My glorious soul sister saudade-sims4​ has made a Crosley Turntable by request and I have made the recolors for it! This was such perfect timing for her to make it too because it’s exactly what I need for my Ultimate Build house I’ve been working on! 

This is a funtional audio device.

For my lovely tinysimmer. 

These are made to match my Redone Windows. The first two shots under the header pic show the exterior doors that I redid to take out dings and nicks and to whiten the dull gray EA version of white. I didn’t add any colors to these (and why in the world has tumblr decided all the sudden that contractions aren’t spelled correctly? I know how to spell didn’t). 

The second two show all the doors and arches that I edited and then added colors to. So all the doors and arches shown in the 3rd and 4th pics have at least 21 color options. 

My dear, shameless, brazen melbrewer367 was kind enough to share her files from her door overrides (that I can’t find the link to, you need a “my stuff” page, princess butthead), so that made making a lot of these less time consuming and tedious.

I’m not doing any more windows or doors in the near future :)

All my bedding, including my Single Mission, Mod Pod, Rustic Dream Bed, and Pilar’s Slide Bed recolors. 

I split them up into 4 files with 12 recolors each (amazingly, OM’s mesh has 12 recolors so it worked like a charm!), so 48 total.

All credit goes to Orange Mittens for the mesh and Sims4Studio ( sims4studioofficial) for their awesome program that never crashes! Link to OM’s original Sofia Bed here.

These will work with my “Mel’s Bedroom” bed frame, Veranka’s Hemnes and Malm bed frames, and Annachibi’s Separated Bed Frames (as you can see in the last pic ;))

Oh, and they all cost 367 simoleons

I was asked to put this house up for download but I was having such a blast decorating it I wanted to share some pics of it fully furnished :)

The Sim I made it for is originally from Nashville, TN and she is single. She has been able to realize her dream of owning her own little villa in a European town and has scoured the flea markets and consignment shops in Windenburg to furnish her house. She loves calm, soothing colors and classic design with some eclectic elements. You can see her in the living room pics.

Because of the sheer amount of CC I used while decorating this house, I’m only putting up for download unfurnished. Thanks to all the wonderful CC creators who make my game so enjoyable!

Ok, so I wasn’t aware that there were *three* level of detail (LOD) meshes for the Sims 4 b/c the first things I ever redid with TSRW only had two, my bad! I only play with my settings as high as they will go and I didn’t even think of testing my meshes on low settings (dumb, I know). 

My chagrin is palpable. 

Anyway, I updated the files for the dresser and the bed frame to include the correct low LOD meshes and now they don’t revert to the objects I cloned them from in that mode. The end table and mattress didn’t need updating for this issue. 

If you play on low settings, please redownload the files and let them replace the ones you already have in your mods folder. (Pick the file the way you originally downloaded, if you downloaded the meshes separately, then re download the bed frame and dresser, if you downloaded the merged file, redownload the merged file)

Minimalist Drapes and Flaunting Flounces Panels Recolors – Redone

Taking a break from meshing, I am working on redoing some of my early downloads to be compatible with the in game design tool and to have my custom thumbnails. These were some of the first things I ever recolored and my originals only had 9 swatches. Well, that just isn’t enough ;) So here we have these base game curtains recolored with 50 swatches each and custom thumbnails. Hope they are useful!

Hi, just wondering if there's a way to get the "Mel's Bedroom" Dresser to work? Currently when it's placed on a lot it can't be clicked/used.

You will need to run it through the Sims4Studio CC batch fixes. I’ll get around to updating all my cc and reuploading one of these days but I can’t say when. Until then it’ll work if you just run it through the tool.
